Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the organisers of Ahimsa Dhyana Mahasabhalu collect through this website, why, and what is done with it. It applies only to this website and to the event held from 1 to 5 October 2026 at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally, Hyderabad.

This event is organised by the National Vegetarian Movement, together with the Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement. The National Vegetarian Movement receives and is responsible for all donations made through this website.

What we collect

When you register

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address — optional; supplied only if you want a confirmation by email
  • Number of persons attending with you
  • Gender
  • The first and last day you intend to attend
  • Your village or city
  • The date and time you gave consent

When you donate

  • Donor name and phone number
  • Email address — optional; supplied only if you want a receipt by email
  • The amount donated, and the payment and order reference issued by Razorpay

What we never collect

We do not ask for and never store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV, netbanking password or any other payment credential. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay on their own systems; those details never reach this website.

We also do not collect your PAN, date of birth, postal address, identity document or any health information, and this site carries no advertising, analytics, tracking pixels or third-party scripts of any kind.

Why we collect it

  • To confirm your registration and issue your registration code
  • To estimate daily attendance so that food, seating and accommodation can be arranged
  • To send you a confirmation or a donation receipt, when you gave an email address
  • To keep an accurate record of donations received

Registration is free. Giving a donation is entirely separate and is never a condition of attending.

Who your information is shared with

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it for marketing. It is shared only with:

  • Razorpay — our payment gateway, for donations only. Their handling of payment data is governed by their own privacy policy.
  • Our email provider — to deliver your confirmation or receipt.

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.

Cookies

The public pages of this site set no cookies and use no tracking of any kind. A single session cookie is set only for organisers signing in to the private administration area. Your registration confirmation is held briefly in your own browser so the confirmation page can display it, and is never placed in the page address.

How your information is protected

  • The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection
  • Access to registration and donation records is restricted to authenticated organisers
  • Administrative activity is logged, and IP addresses in those logs are stored only in hashed form
  • This event's data is kept in its own database, separate from any other project

How long it is kept

This is a temporary website for a single event. Registration records are kept for the period needed to organise and conclude the event and to keep an accurate record afterwards, and are then deleted. Donation records are kept for as long as financial record-keeping requires.

Your choices

You may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to us at the address on our contact page and include your registration code so we can find your record. Deleting a registration cancels it. Donation records tied to a completed payment cannot be deleted where we are required to retain them.

Children

The event is open to everyone and there is no age restriction. Children should be included in the number of persons on an adult's registration rather than registering separately.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes before the event, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
